My company switched to OptumRx in 2016. They would not approve a formulary override so my daughter could continue her medication for a chronic condition.

co-pay, Optumrx caller says how will you pay?

She had already tried the only preferred alternative on their list without success. They forced my daughter to try a medication that was not approved for her age group and she had an adverse reaction as a result. Only then did they finally approve the override.

Customer service representatives contradict each other and are not helpful.

At times, parts of the website were not functional. Everything except generics seems to be charged at the highest tier.

Worst prescription drug company I ever had to interact with.
