Diabetic - Optumrx won't refill and changed Dr's prescription
I am very close to filing an American's with disability lawsuit. My Dr provided Optumrx with a 1 year prescription for Novolog pens in March 2017 with and expiration of March 2018.
To be filled at 90 day intervals. Anyone with a minimal amount of knowledge about diabetes knows that the fast acting insulin amount you take varies from day to day as needed. I have two days left and on their website it says they are processing my prescription after requesting that I would be out in twelve days when I requested it 10 days ago. Nice cushion for their refill.
I WANT TO KNOW WHAT GIVES OPTUM THE RIGHT TO CHANGE A DOCTOR'S PRESCRIPTION? I HAVE NOT SEEN ONE OF THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS TO GIVE ME MEDICAL CARE OR ANY OTHER EMPLOYEE OF THEIRS. Yes capital letters.
I have been in sales and marketing over 35 years and this company is by far, by far the worst I have ever dealt with and the scary part is that they deal in peoples medications.Gerald Kirk Omaha Nebraska
