I was advised that as of January the plan was changing and I now had to use OPTUM RX specialty pharmacy.They have terrible customer service.
Hour long delays on hold, multiple transfers and multiple calls for simple customer service tasks. Reps are uninformed and give conflicting information. Telephone call quality, (Clarity) is so bad that reps are unintelligible. Reps make commitments that are not fulfilled.
If I had any choice, I would never do business with this company.
If any HR Departments are listening - You are not saving your company any money going with OPTUM RX.
The amount of unproductive employee time dealing with these jokers far exceeds any savings.Please demand better for us.

The author is overall dissatisfied with OptumRx. The most disappointing about optumrx customer care from OptumRx was lies and incompetance, poor phone call quality and time on hold , but reviewer liked some reps who tried to help. Reviewer wants customer support to reach out to him or her ASAP for further discussion of this matter.
