This comment is to the unresolved issued posted on may 10th 2016, from Cape Coral Florida. I am very interested in the lawsuit!!
Please let me know what is going on with this. A FEW MORE THINGS TO ADD TO YOUR LIST AND EXPERIENCE WITH UNITED HEALTH /OPTUM RX: IF THEY ARE ONLY GAME IN TOWN, THEN THEY ARE A MONOPOLY AND WHAT ABOUT THE ANTITRUST LAWS? ARE THEY NOT SUPPOSED TO PROTECT THAT FROM HAPPENING? TALK TO YOUR REPRESENTATIVES ABOUT WHAT THEY DID WITH THIS?
OUR EXPERIENCE IS THEY BREACHED THEIR CONTRACT; MEANING THEY ADD THINGS, NOT AGREED TO IN THE CONTRACTS TO THEIR CUSTOMERS, LIKE PRIOR AUTHORIZATIONS THAT WERE NOT REQUESTED BEFORE, LAST MIN WHEN MEDICATIONS ARE DUE, THEY HOLD UP PRESCRIPTIONS BECAUSE OF SO-CALLED RULES,...THEY DENY LEGITIMATE PRESCRIPTIONS THAT DO HAVE PRIOR AUTHORIZATION STATING THEY NEED ANOTHER ONE FOR THE DEA? THEY ALSO MISREPRESENT THE DOCTORS BY PLACING BLAME ON THEM FOR THE DELAYS AND NOT DOING THEIR JOB. THE DEA AND OPTUM RX ARE THE ONES FORCING PEOPLE TO THE STREETS TO FIND HELP WITH THEIR PAIN. TELLING PATIENTS TO JUST PAY FOR THE PRESCRIPTIONS OUT OF POCKET??
THIS IS A BREACH OF CONTRACT IN THE WORST WAY. SO THEY GET THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS PER MONTH IN PREMIUMS, THE DOCTOR GETS HUNDREDS, AND THE PATIENT IS LEFT IN PAIN OR PAYING IN FULL FOR MEDICATIONS TO BEARLY GET THROUGH A DAY?
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $800.
Preferred solution: regulate, place antitrust laws, get rid of DEA demands, no hold ups on prescriptions due, no excuses!!.
I didn't like: Non-urgent, Blame shifting uncaring, Incompetant, Incompetent untrained.
