It probably started with a minor technical glitch in the ordering website. Related to pop-ups for auto refill and the system get hung up trying to find prices. Not perfect, but not extraordinary.

The result was $170 being charged to my credit card. Not a good thing, but in theory correctable.

The inexcusable part is their stone wall policy of saying "Oh, that's the way we received the order, so you're screwed". It is as if the website, THEIR website, was totally outside their span of responsibility.

I'll spare you the details, but please take this advise. If you are thinking of using Optum Rx, run, don't walk.
