I have been taking the same medication for over 3 years. Our company changed to OptumRX and I have now spent the last two months in what feels like prescription *** due to the vague and inconsistent responses from the OptumRX people.
My doctor, my third-party administrator, my pharmacy and myself have gotten the run around ... ALL while I am not able to get a much-needed prescription filled. I don't know who sold our company on this new provider of prescription services, but I, for one, am NOT happy with the change.
For someone with ADHD, having to take time out of my day (instead of working at my job), is even more overwhelming than it normally would be ... because they are denying my ADHD medication!! Last month I was at least able to get an "override" by the pharmacy to allow for 1/2 of my prescription. This month, I can't even get the same 1/2 (that was allowed last month) ... due to someone behind a curtain being able to press the "deny" button.
This is like a doctor saying you need a certain prescription for your glasses ... and when trying to get your glasses, someone saying ... we will give you 1/2 of what your doctor says you need ... and the following month saying ... oh, we are sorry, you need to appeal that ... so we are sorry you don't have your glasses any longer - you just need to appeal and we will make a decision when we get around to it.
In the meantime, I am trying to function at my job. Can't even make them understand that this should be marked "urgent" because it isn't "life-threatening" ...
I hope you have better luck than me with this company. It still is not resolved and there is no urgency. I hope I don't get fired from my job in the meantime for not being able to focus!!!
Reason of review: Order processing issue.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
I didn't like: Inadequate processing of orders and false information, Robotic scripted answers, No communication between departments, No one with customer service in mind.
