I recently refilled my prescription of Amlodopine because my doctor advised me to. My doctor and I were talked about taking me off of this medication because I was on it too long and my doctor said it might be the cause of my ankles and feet swelling.
This was last year in February. My doctor likes this medication and she wanted me to stay on it awhile longer until she did some other testing on me. So I refilled the script and I saw her on Tuesday, Jan. 10.
After much talking she decided to take me off of Amlodopine and put me on another medicine. When I called and explained to OptumRX what happened, that due to no fault of mine I now paid $25.00 for medicine that I cannot use. I was told I could not send back the medicine and that I could not get my credit card credited for the $25. I think this is sad for senior citizens who are trying to make ends meet.
I hope OptumRX feels really great about what I consider stealing $25.00 from me. Shirley Ciesielski
