Just got off the phone with OptumRX ,in an attempt to refill my order after fighting with them for a week to fill the order in April. Optum has 100 excuses as to how to charge more, reduce the size of the prescription, and this time my refill is "permanently backordered".

Optum might as well be based in India or some other country that changes their rules to fit their financial needs.

They are obligated to contact my doctor, then I have to contact my doctor, which all takes time and money. I have never experienced an insurance company that needs to ask you date of birth, address, and name 4x only to tell you that you are not able to get your refill.

Product or Service Mentioned: Optumrx Soolantra Prescription Refill.

Reason of review: prescription is backordered.

Monetary Loss: $400.

Preferred solution: change your policies.

I didn't like: Constant excuses to not fill prescriptions.
